Te Omanga Hospice, established in 1979, provides care and support to people, and their families, living with a terminal or life limiting illness in the Hutt Valley. It is fundraising $10 million to rebuild its earthquake-prone building in Lower Hutt.
All funds raised at HighLight will go back into the local community, helping Te Omanga provide their essential palliative care service.
This year The Breeze are thrilled to present Crank Zappa, a lively jellyfish made from recycled plastics. Keep an eye out for The Breeze team by the jellyfish to donate your plastic bags in return for a Breeze reusable bag! The Breeze is your radio station for everything Wellington. With Steve & Kath, your local breakfast show in the morning and all your favourite songs across your workday. Broadcasting from our Te Aro studios on 94.1 in the Capital and 98.5 in the Hutt.
The team at Gazley Jeep Lower Hutt are proud to be supporting this great community event in the Hutt Valley. Gazley group are aborn and bred Wellington Business with strong family values and community spirit. The theme for this event fits very well with the adventurous spirit of the Jeep brand and creates a great synergy with our friends a McCauley metals. It is also great to support the Te Omanga Hospice with all the outstanding work they do in the Hutt Valley.

This year they have partnered with Real Steel who have skilfully designed a metal dinosaur over 12 meters long and 5 meters high! "Colin the T Rex" will be auctioned in the months after HighLight and proceeds will be donated to Te Omanaga Hospice. Macaulay Metals will be celebrating 60 years in the metal business next year and they're proud to have their head office and largest site here in Lower Hutt. They are passionate about supporting the Council to stage events for the local community and working with Te Omanga Hospice to raise much needed funds for their new facility.
Mitre 10 MEGA Petone, Upper Hutt & Porirua are a proud part of the Wellington region. Getting behind community events like HighLight gives us a chance for the MEGA team to represent just what we stand for - community. We're looking forward to four fantastic nights over Labour Weekend.
