HighLight is here for one weekend only so here’s what you need to know to plan your visit.

The carnival is spread across Riddiford Garden and the Civic Precinct in Lower Hutt. We recommend using public transport because parking can be limited.
- Friday: Wainuiomata and Naenae
- Saturday: Taita and Stokes Valley
The best opportunity for parking is the Riverbank car park accessible via Daly Street and Rutherford Street. There are 847 parks available for free after 5pm. Security will be operating during the carnival. It’s a 5 minute walk to the carnival through the Lower Hutt CBD.
332 paid parks are available at Centre City Plaza Parking Building, accessible from Queens Drive.
Both car parks will close at midnight each night during the carnival.
